Visit to China – Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai and Beijing

In April I travelled to China for a two week trip, which included attending the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, visiting the Great Wall in Beijing as well as relaxing and taking in the environment and culture.

The Grand Prix was amazing and I even had a behind the scensles look at the McLaren garage.

After the Grand Prix weekend I flew to Beijing where I stayed at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, a very good hotel and the room was excellent.

I visited the Forbidden City which absolutely amazing and full of significant history.

The Great Wall of China was an extremely inspiring part of my visit to Beijing. You’re on average 3,500 ft above the town below. The purpose of the wall being built is in itself very interesting.

After Beijing I then flew back to Shanghai for the weekend where I stayed at Hilton Shanghai.
The view from Hilton Shanghai at night was rather special.

Though in arriving at the airport the taxi queue was ridiculous.

I saw a couple of friends who were also in Shanghai and took in some of the iconic architecture of Pudong right next to the Bund.

I will share more of pictures soon and some of the interesting things I saw.

Just need to sort through the images and video still!
